Metroid 2: Return of Samus — Queen Battle and Best Ending
This is the battle with Samus has with Queen Metroid and the best ending in the game, Metroid 2: Return of Samus for the Gameboy. The game registers in at just under three hours, and though it doesn’t say so, it is with 100% item recovery. Notice the baby Metroid hatchling imprinting Samus as it’s mother. Samus brings that baby Metroid back with her, and it becomes the basis for what happens in Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion. This game is actually in black and white, like all old Gameboy games, but since it is being played on the Gameboy Player, it is automatically colorized. This also happens on the Gameboy Advance.

3:56 = EPIC FIGHT !
Damn I miss this game. I dont have a gameboy advance sp but a ds but I have this game. It really sucks, I remember all the times I would beat this game
@Akaalis Same here, but I think you take a lot less damage the “old way.”
@Akaalis Isn’t this boss awesomely fun to fight man ?
It’s a shame the whole game is so repetitive and bland cause this queen metroid looks excellent and I love how she attacks you and you can go inside her chest !
Excellent boss battle and those colors are amazing for an original game boy game which was made in shades of green and grey
@relonation i know it was great better than the original minus the music
and I thought that I have to beat him with 200 missles…
@Akaalis lol thats what I liked about playing against that thing or most of the end bosses for the first 3 metroid games. you nearly exhaust your missile, and energy tank supplies, at the brink of death, and some how Barely managed to survive, very thrilling. but the bomb trick? makes the queen look like cheese =/
@Spacemancer When samus is infected by the X, the vaccine made from the baby saves her
i have to admit, Samus walk-cycle on the credits are weird..
@Nightflame1993
have you played metroid prime? Tallon IV is FULL of metroids.
The baby affects fusion as well? How?
YO!!!!
i seriously didn’t fukin know you could get upin his stomach and do damage like that I was always dukin it out with nothing but missles
Mission Accomplished.
gotta love the spiderball
Someone doesn’t like to space jump at all….
